Anyone need a feel good story on the climate crisi Anyone need a feel good story on the climate crisis? In my latest piece @outsidemagazine, I reported on youth-centered environmental education organizations and interviewed some amazing kids who are fighting for outdoor equity and climate justice in their own backyards. As these non-profits have proven, participating in collaborative, hands-on educational activities related to climate change not only eases climate anxiety but sets up youth to remain invested in climate action as adults. Click the story link in my bio to learn about the five programs fostering the next generation of outdoor advocates in America. Thanks to @greenheartchs @urbanecologycenter @communitynatureconnection @generationwildcolorado @navajonationcouncil and @vandeverdaniel for letting me into your inspiring world! 🌎 #environment #climatejustice #youthclimateaction #positiveclimatenews #outdoorequity #climatechange #getkidsoutside

For @thrillist, I wrote about the 11 best hotels in NY state equipped with charging stations, like the @wildflowerauberge, where I learned how to make focaccia art with the @focacciaflourist. Plus, I share where to rent an EV across the U.S.⚡️ https://www.thrillist.com/travel/new-york/best-hotels-with-ev-charging-stations-upstate-new-york #evroadtrip #nygetaway #goelectric #thrillist #roadtrip #greentravel #eco

Remy did his first running race today and came in Remy did his first running race today and came in 4th place, winning his age group and coming in after 9 and 10 year olds! It was a tricky hilly 1k trail through the woods, and at the finish line Remy said, “My heart is beating so fast! When’s the next race?” I came in 4th in the women’s field for the 5k. It was my first trail running race and I think I’m hooked! Thanks @woodcocknaturecenter for a beautiful course, fun atmosphere and medal cookies! #proudmama #wherethewildthingsrun #charityrace #trailrunning #familyraceday #fallfoliage #lovetheoutdoors
